Hello and welcome to my new music blog. I am Ed Dawson, my old nom de punk is ShitEd. "Back in the day" I wrote for Flipside, Hit List, Fizz and several other paper zines. My personal zine was The Vent. I also was editor and co-publisher of Censor This Zine, with Liz McGrath of artistic fame. Currently I run the Flipside Memorial page on Facebook which has more than 20,000 followers; and I play music in my folk-punk band The Bandini Mountaineers. I have been itching to write record reviews again. This blog will give me a forum for reviewing new releases, older neglected releases, and live shows.
